Presenting campaign partners

In its 6th year, 'The Peace of Mind for Your Heaven' outreach has attracted key stakeholders in the fire and carbon monoxide safety community.

• Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Associations – the only province-wide voice for waterfront property owners, FOCA provides outreach to more than 500 Associations across Ontario, representing 50,000 families.



• FireSmart – Ministry of Natural Resources – joined the program for the first time in 2012, to add fire safety messages targeted at communities and homeowners to take action and protect their properties from the risk of wildfires.
• Fire Marshal's Public Fire Safety Council: A founding partner of the campaign, the Council provides invaluable technical expertise, and for voice public service materials
• Kidde Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms: Canada's largest manufacturer of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, Kidde champions the overall outreach providing broad-ranging logistics and communications support, and its technical expertise on fire and CO prevention solutions
• Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs: Involved in the program since its inception, a leading voice of fire chiefs in Canada, the CAFC distributes campaign materials for use by fire departments across the province.

Moose Radio/Haliburton Broadcasting: As an adjunct to its 'OnTheWater' program, Moose Cottage Radio is utilizing its marine eventing team to inform cottagers, right at their cottage dock, about the Peace of Mind for Your Piece of Heaven Campaign, and how they can take part!

Cottage Life: Cottage Life is utilizing its various printed and on-line channels to help make a connection with cottagers and raise the stature of fire and CO safety to the point where it becomes routine. Cottage Life is also supporting the "Safe at the Cottage" Contest with magazine subscription prizes.
